About Us

RAGJ was founded by seven young women (aged 21-27) passionate about amplifying the voices, choices, and social and economic opportunities of girls and women in Cameroon. Our team has expanded remarkably, and we are progressively executing our work according to international standards.  We are proud “kontri” local researchers; we are awesome! Our efforts to integrate the Assets-Based Community-driven Development (ABCD) methodologies into our work have become a remarkable part of our identity. 

RAGJ is a unique learning organisation that has penetrated even the most isolated and hard-to-reach communities. These communities have accepted RAGJ and taken the lead in organising, mobilizing, and supporting our work. Our strong rapport with councils, government services, and private institutions, who have commended the quality of our work, further underscores the trust and acceptance we have earned. 

RAGJ's Assets-Based Community-driven Development (ABCD) approach is the cornerstone of our actions. This innovative strategy has earned the trust of over 200 civil society organisations across Cameroon and established a robust presence in 250 local communities across the Centre, Littoral, Northwest, Southwest, and West regions.

We are a team of experts (Consultants) with extensive and blended scholarly-practitioner research abilities and a variety of action-research methodologies for community development, data-driven policy and laws-making, monitoring and evaluation, data management (collection and analysis) and field research (in crisis) make a force to reckon with in grassroots, national, regional and international development interventions.
